The Northland Blitz join the 5 other teams in the Northern States Football League (NSFL) for the 2016 season.  This year, Nathan Bents will be our Head Coach . Nick Olson will assist Coach Bents and Chad Kessey will be the Assistant Coach. Rantay Howell has taken part Ownership in the team. Shawn Synkiew will step up as the General Manager for the season.  Naomi Bents is working in the front office to help the team she and Coach Bents created.  Team Representatives have been going around the town to recruit, and share our schedules. Laura Bakken is our Media Relations person. We are so blessed to have everyone with us!

So many doors are opening up for the team!  The Blitz are honored to partner-up with Reach Fundraising and have a great relationship with Kevin Ryherd.  The Blitz and Reach are offering the community many opportunities such as: Anti-Bullying Awareness, Concussion Awareness, Concerts, Golf Tournaments, Cheer Competitions, Meet & Greets and bringing in multiple special guests. The Blitz will also get involved in the community by donating their time to the following: Highway Cleanup, Meal Preparation, Bell Ringing, clinics/combines, flag football games and more.  We are here to make a difference on and off the field.  

The Blitz have a number of players registered with the league who have a wide variety of talent.  Some players are returning from the 2015 season, and most of the players are new to the team. If you have the desire to play football, please contact Coach Bents at  218-348-1007.  We are still looking to fill a few positions on the team. Practices are every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 

Not only are we a football team, we are also a support system for others who may be going through a tough time. The Blitz are family! 

The Northland Blitz open the 2016 NSFL regular season in Duluth, MN against the West Central Broncos (Willmar, MN) on Saturday, May 7 at 4:00pm. Our home games are located at the Public Schools Stadium at Denfeld High School. The price of admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors/children (ages 5-12) and children under age 5 are FREE.
