BACKED UP THEM WORDS!

He was batting down passes, two interceptions and one to the house to seal the deal. Fighting Orioles cornerback Tevis Wilson backed up his words on Saturday verses the #2 ranked Midwest Nightmare. Along with a lights out performance by quarterback Michael Spiggs, who redeemed himself after a rocky first start last week. Spriggs was 13 of 24 for 181 and 3 TDs. That team effort fought of the feisty Nightmare for a 37-24 victory to keep the Birdz at #1 and UNDEFEATED!

Wide Receiver CJ Coakley Jr.  also gave the Birdz their first 100 yard receiving day with 7 catches for 107 yards and the game winning touchdown.

A DAY TO REMEMBER

By Victor Player 05/31/2015, 12:30am CDT

The Mid-America Fighting Orioles engineered another forty point victory this Saturday, as they visited the Granite City Renegades in Collegeville. The Birds were once again anchored by their unbreakable defense, as the Offense got off to a rocky start. But the Orioles got back on track after a 65 yard touchdown run from running back Brandon Mueller.

Then the Birds unleashed “THE BYRD” Jauhem Byrd had three key punt returns of 25, 54, & 70 yards to put the offense in scoring positions. The show didn’t stop there, as Bryd took the second half kickoff 81 yards to the house. Total he had 285 all-purpose yards and 1TD

And for the second straight game, defensive end Kirk Eggleston Jr. turned an offensive mistake into six points for the Birds. Final score Fighting Orioles 45 Renegades 0
