New London – Saturday the Renegades beat the West Central Broncos, 40-6 to improve to (5-3, 2-2).  The Renegades gave up less than 300 yards of offense while putting up over 300 themselves, led by a 100 yard running game of Sean Hayden.  QB Ryan Fay threw three TD’s to three different WR, while the Renegade defense scored their first defensive TD of the season by the hands of Kyle Crozon and Corey Adams with a blocked pass that turned into a 46 yard INT (TD).

The Renegades are currently in the #3 seed in the NSFL and have a bye this week.  Our final home game is July 23rd against the Twin City Sabercats (4-3, 2-0).   The last time these two teams met was the season opener in North St. Paul where the Renegades won 18-13.  Although the Renegades are in the #3 seed right now, the playoffs are not set yet, but could be after the Sabercat/Patriots game on Saturday.  If the Sabercats win, the Renegades secure the #3 seed and will face the Sabercats again on August 6th in North St. Paul.  If the Patriots win, the game on the 23rd will determine the Renegades playoff spot.   If they lose, we will host the Broncos on July 30th.  If we win, we will face the Sabercats again on August 6th.
