The Fargo Invaders (5-0) defeat the Granite City Renegades (4-2) 28-0.  With field temperatures nearing 100 degrees, it was the Invader Defense that was ‘on fire’, forcing 3 turnovers & holding the Renegade Offense to 23 total yards on the day, including 84 negative yards via Sack.  Rochenel Jeanbaptiste had 2.5 sacks, while Ronnie Buck & Brandon Sloan added 2 more; Matt Edwards, Larone Johnson, Felton Summerville, & David Earl also got into the action picking up a 0.5 sack each.  Ronnie Buck & Anthony Atonio each had a fumble recovery, while Dee Strozier had an interception to seal the victory.

Two former Bison, Josh Gatlin & Nick Jackson each had Touchdowns; Gatlin’s a 62 yard Punt Return and Jackson’s a 4-yard catch.  CT Davis added a pair of Touchdowns onto his already League Leading 7; now at 9.

In the 1st Half, the Invaders scored on 2 of their 3 possessions, including an opening drive of 75 yards.  The Invaders found the endzone in 1 of their 4 second half possessions, with a missed Field Goal & Interception at the 6 yard line stalling two deep threat drives. 

Time was kept on the field, without a Scoreboard, as there was an Electrical outage at St. John's the prior night.
