For the Northern States Football League, the Season starts May 7th.

Several teams took to the field April 23rd to polish their lineups.  Road games typically prove tough, and that was the case for 3 NSFL Teams.

The Twin City Sabercats traveled to Winona to take on the River City Rough Riders out of the NEFL, falling 44-0.

The South Metro Patriots got on the board in Wisconsin playing at the Chippewa Valley Predators, but came-up short 14-42.

The West Central Broncos played the night-cap, picking up a Safety but fell short to the Minnesota Valley Warriors 2-35.

There was a Scrimmage that also took place, as the Northland Blitz scored an estimated 6 touchdowns against the MPFL Central Minnesota Psycopaths, while holding them to 2.

There are still Two Weeks before league play begins, allowing a few more tune-up games next weekend... Stay Tuned!
