Sabercats: 24 Days Until Season Kicks Off

Vadnais Heights, MN - The Twins Cities Sabercats Football team has less than 1 month left until they kick off the 2016 season at their home field, North Saint Paul Polar Field.  The team has been practicing indoors up until a few weeks ago in preparation for the 2016 NSFL Season.  

This year marks the teams 1st year and in their Inaugural season are led by celebrated Head Coach David Marshall.  Coach Marshall has an extensive resume ranging from personal collegiate and professional play as well as several years coaching at the Semi Professional level.   "The guys have really taken to Coach Marshall and I look up to him; he is really a great role model for everyone." -says one of the team members.

In addition to Coach Marshall, the team is also being advised by Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator Todd Mensing.  Coach Mensing has a resume that also includes collegiate play and coaching and is excited to start his Semi Professional Football coaching career with the Sabercats.  The offensive and defense lines, and special teams squad also have impressive coaching staff that have been working hard to give the Sabercats a unique and strategic style of play. 

Duane Rosen and Kimberly Johnson, owners of the TC Sabercats are beyond thrilled at the dedication and positive attitudes of the young men that have signed with this team as well as the enthusiasm and willingness to help from their volunteer staff.  "{Johnson} We are very proud of this team and the bond that has been created between everyone."
