Not the way a weekend should start for anyone.

A rising star has left the NSFL way before anyone would ever hope.
Mike Morris of the Monarchs had a heart attack at work and passed away this morning (Friday).  Mike moved here to play ball at Ridgewater College, then played football in the MPFL for The West Central Broncos, and then the NSFL for Midwest Monarchs.  Mike was only 23 years young.

"My heart hurts real bad right now. So young, so much more life to live and was one of the nicest guys I know."  Owner & Head Coach of the West Central Broncos Steve Peppin said.  "I personally will be dedicating this year to you my friend. My heart hurts for your family and friends. Much love and respect." Peppin said about Mike.

We will be having a moment of silence to start all NSFL games on May 16th in his honor.
