Sartell, MN – This past weekend the Renegades scored on all three sides of the ball, the team ended up putting 35 points in 3 quarters before Mother Nature took over and caused the game to be called.  The game started with a strike from QB Jermaine Holmes to veteran WR, Michael VanHeel.  Holmes also ran for another 100 yards and also took an INT for 60 yards in for one of the scores.  Veteran LB, Jake Hutt, also took an INT in for six after taking it 60+ yards.

After being gone for two weeks serving our Country, veteran RB Derek Alexander put up 16 points and over 150 yards of total offense.  He also catapulted himself into the running for most kick return yards in the MPFL.

This 4th of July weekend, the Renegades take on the West Central Broncos.  The last time these two teams met it ended up in a defensive battle with the Renegades winning with the help of special teams and blocking the XP on the Broncos giving them a 7-6 win and taking a 2-1 series lead.  One difference in this game is Jonas Marshall will not be QB, but at WR and Jermaine Holmes will be back at the helm after suffering a knee injury.

With a Renegades victory this weekend, the Renegades put themselves alone in 3rd place and 1.0 game out of first with the Invaders in the Renegades way to their claim at 1st place, but that is a story all its self.
