The Midwest Premier Football League voted Sunday to make West Central Broncos owner Steve Peppin the commissioner of the league for the next three years.

The Granite City Renegades’ Brett Weaver has been commissioner for the past three years. He will serve as vice director this year.

“I look forward to making our league rock solid and I appreciate the opportunity,” Peppin said.
